Community Housing

The Community Housing Program provides assistance to families who, because of their income, cannot obtain adequate accommodation at the current market rate.  Priority is given to families with dependent children living in poor or overcrowded housing conditions or paying a high percentage of their income for rent. We allocate housing based on need according to government regulations.

Leduc Regional Housing Foundation's Community Housing Program is governed by the Alberta Housing Act and the Residential Tenancies Act along with the regulations associated with them.

Leduc Regional Housing Foundation provides property management services for the 64 family housing units at Linsford Gardens, operating under the Alberta Community Housing Program.  The province owns all of the units under this program, and any operating deficits are fully funded by the province through an annual budget review process.  Management and tenant selection are delegated to Leduc Regional Housing Foundation.
