5105 – 52 Avenue, Leduc AB (LOCATION MAP & DIRECTION)Planeview Manor/Place is located in the heart of the City of Leduc situated within walking distance of the downtown core. The Lodge was established in 1963 and over the years has undergone a number of additions and renovations (see Where We Began).
Planeview Manor/Place boasts ninety three (93) bed-sitting rooms and an additional twenty eight (28) one–bedroom Supportive Housing Suites creating a total of 121 units. Fifty-three (53) of these units are barrier free allowing easier walker and wheelchair access for residents.
The facility has two dining rooms, a beautiful Main Dining Room in Planeview Place, which accommodates up to 140 residents and guests; Westside Dining Room is located in Planeview Manor and seats 24 residents. There is a large Recreation Centre, craft room, library and several lounge areas throughout the facility. For the convenience of our residents a hairdresser and podiatrist visit the Lodge on a regular basis.
There is a full-time Activity Coordinator that facilitates a variety of activities and an active Volunteer program. In addition, an Activity Bus is available to take the residents on a variety of trips and outings.
The facility is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to maintain security and respond to emergencies. Each resident is issued a pendant that they may wear and activate when an emergency arises.
